4-26-08 Vinyl Collective is running pre-orders right now for the new splt 7". As part of the pre-order process they are running a contest with 1 winner receiving a test pressing. That was the only test pressing we got and we decided to give it away so got to their site and pre-order the record now! CLICK HERE TO PRE-ORDER 3-5-08 So the new split 7" will be out May 13th, you can download the tracks through our snocap store on our myspace page. There's an extra song on there for download that won't be available anywhere else, you'll have to figure out which one it is. We've also begun work on a new project that is going to feature the most extensive line-up ever seen on a Bullet Treatment release. 10-26-07 On to some new stuff. We recorded 3 new songs and they will be available shortly via a split 7" w/ It's Casual. Joining myself and Jeff are....on bass Rich who has been tearing it up for years with such legendary bands as THE ALLIGATORS fearuing Roger Miret & INSTED. Rounding out the lineup is Jordan S. from VULTURES UNITED. We're hoping to at least get everybody together for a band pic since we didn't have the opportunity to actually play together. late! 8-30-07 So updating the site hasnt actually been a priority lately, but what do you expect when everyone spends every waking minute of the day on myspace keeping their finger crossed that Tina Vodka is going to actually respond to the love letter they sent. Or maybe their favorite band will actually write back not knowing that some kid gets paid $20 a day to "act" out as if they were in the band. ahhhhhh the age of the internet. All that bullshit aside, we continue to outdo ourselves in support of our latest offering "The Mistake", not only did we bust out a show in March, we attempted to get through a set in Hollywood last week only to be shut down, now we're going for a personal record of our 3rd show with the exact same line-up on Sept 13th. opening for some pretty bad-ass mofo's themselves MONDO GENERATOR. Not to keep things stale for too long, we did track 3 new songs with "the Captain" from THE ICARUS LINE on drums a week back and they will pop up shortly on some sort of split 7" or comp. or who knows what. 5-10-07 Couple new things to check out while we clean off the cobb webs and get things rolling again. First up FRANTIK MAGAZINE has an interview / feature thing a ma'job up on their website. Also the new issue of LOUD FAST RULES! has an new interview as well. Get that issue quick rumor has it, it is already sold out so comb your local mom and pop shop for a copy. Finally REVELATION RECORDS has added the 12" Clear Vinyl Version of "The Mistake" to their repertoire. 4-10-07 So it's been forever and a day since we've updated the site, well with myspace consuming everyones time what's the point of having the ole domain. Well for those who do take the time to check out the site or for those who made an effort to come out to the show (which if you check this site often you probably didn't even know about it) THANKS ! A couple more props.... Much love to Complete Control Radio and Indie 103.1 for continuely playing our track "Friday Night". Ditto to XM Radio and Fungus 53 for spinning "Grindstone", & "Already Dead", we had no idea or inclination that our chaos would make it on the airwaves, but again thanks to those who have taken the chance on a good ole' punk rock record. Same goes to all the other stations like Punk Rock Demo Tape, Anti-Emo Empire, Mowhawk Radio, Hussiskunk, Maximum Rock n' Roll, KUCI, etc., etc. !!! For those down under, Wagon Records will be releasing "The Mistake" in Australia on May 1st. Special thanks to Blunt Magazine down there for running the Bullet Treatment features. Keep your ears peeled for
more Ruthless, Pointless Aggrevated Mischief on the way. 12-1-06 Go to this site and download a free Bullet Treatment ring tone. MyxerTones.com Free Ringtones ! Check it out. 11-17-06 Go to Complete Control radio and request our song "Friday Night". We apologize for not playing tues. on KUCI but if you want to hear the interview and our attempt to DJ check it out here: http://www.kuci.org/~seanboy/playit.mp3 Pick up the October 2006 issue of Skratch Magazine and check out the Bullet Treatment feature. There's also some interview links and full reviews on our myspace page. Here's a few excepts of a couple of reviews: “The overall sound is of people running into each other with scissors. It's the sound of ”The Mistake” that used to have people branding punk rock as dangerous music.” - PASTEPUNK.COM ”Bullet Treatment’s latest work has me wishing the band could do some nation-wide treks and play the world's dingiest clubs. Sixteen songs of straightforward, high-speed chord progressions, blazing drumming, throat-shredding screams and a healthy dose of accessible tempos in about 23 minutes -- what's not to like?” - GEEKBURGER.COM “A fabulously furious assault of both East and West Coast punchy punk adolescence, Bullet Treatment isn’t just a mere throwback to the halcyon days of circle pits at CBGB. An album that tears through its track listing at a largely blistering pace, Bullet Treatment proves there’s simply no mistake to be found.” - MEAN STREET MAGAZINE “The Mistake feels like a live show that’s crammed into a stereo and doesn’t disappoint in its homage to the early 1980’s of hardcore punk rock”. - SLUG MAGAZINE "While this disc may be a bit more polished than some of their other work, it doesn't distract from their sound at all. "The Mistake" has the same driving drums and blistering guitar work. In fact smoothing out some of the rough edges has probably made this their sharpest disc to date. Trax like "A Reason For Violence" and "Friday Night" are just flat out awesome fucking songs and this may be the best Bullet Treatment album to date." - ECTOMAG "I start to listen to this record and I am absolutely blown away. Every song is short, fast and pure. No filler and no garbage. Now this is what I call "punk rock"! Prepare yourself. In closing: You really got to hear this album!" - MUTINY ZINE 10-20-06 For all you So. Cal-ers pick up a copy of todays OC Register and check out the full page feature on Bullet Treatment in the Show section. You can also read excerpts here.
